Dual Enrollment course registration ends May 22nd! Don't delay!
Prospective AND current students are required to attend a dual enrollment meeting prior to each semester they plan on taking dual enrollment classes. We strongly encourage parents to attend. This meeting covers all rules and requirements to participate in the program. Individual meetings will not be held to discuss the dual enrollment process. Please use the link below to register; only students can register using their @oasiscs.org email address.

CURRENT DUAL ENROLLMENT STUDENTS - You are still required to attend a Dual Enrollment meeting each semester to stay in the program. Below are two dates specifically for you, as we will have a shorter, quick refresher meeting to just go over updates to the program. If you cannot make either of these dates, you can also sit through the longer meetings as well.
2/2/26 and 2/17/26 at 8:35 am in the OHS Cafe
At the meeting, attendance will be taken and you will receive a copy of the OHS dual enrollment contract. Attending a meeting is the ONLY way to receive a contract. If we do not have one on file for you, you will not be permitted to register for dual enrollment classes.
The first step is to create an application account with FSW. You do so by clicking the link below, and filling out the necessary information. Be sure to select Dual Enrollment/Early Admission Student as your Student Type. Next, you will complete the application. When you click start application, it will give you different applications you can complete. Be sure to scroll down to complete Dual Enrollment Student application. You don't have to pay an application fee, so if it is asking for one, go back and make sure you selected the Dual Enrollment Application. You will need a student ID number to proceed to the next step, once you complete your application, it takes about a week.
Once you have your FSW student ID number, you will need to create your FSW Bucs account. This is where you will access your FSW email and your Canvas account to access your coursework. To create your account:
Go to www.fsw.edu and click on MyFSW up in the top menu.
It will take you to the login screen. On the bottom right, click “New User Setup/Forgot Password”.
Follow the instructions and type in your first and last name, date of birth, and your FSW ID number.
On the next screen, create your password.
Once you submit your password, it will bring you to a screen where it will give you your FSW Bucs username. Be sure to write this down, because this will be your official login!
At the bottom, click “Click here to log in to the portal” and sign in with your new credentials.
You will now need to download and log in to the Google Authenticator app. This is to keep your account secure and is required by FSW. Download the app on the app store.
Once you have it downloaded, scan the QR code on the screen. It will generate a one time, 6-digit code. Type that in the FSW screen and name the device you used.
Once you hit submit, you will be able to access your full FSW Bucs portal.
For support with your MyFSW account, you can contact the FSW Help Desk. OHS counselors unfortunately cannot help you per FSW policy due to FERPA laws. To contact the help desk, call: 239-489-9202
Students who are in starting dual enrollment prior to grade 11/12 have additional requirements for admission per the articulation agreement. If you have students with a graduation date of 2028+, they are required to submit 2 letters of recommendation and a HS transcript showing documentation/completion of 5 HS core credits. These documents should be submitted directly to Dual.Enrollment@fsw.edu with the BUCS ID# of the student, your student will have additional holds and will not be eligible to register without the receipt and approval of these documents.
High School Transcripts: There are FSW courses that require completion of certain high school credits as prerequisites. It is your responsibility to request that your high school transcript be sent to FSW prior to registration. We recommend sending transcripts at the start of your dual enrollment journey and on an as-needed basis depending on the courses you wish to take.
To Send High School Transcripts:
Email: lisa.ferrara@capecharterschools.org and request that they be sent to FSW
AICE: Students who have passed AICE exams need to send AICE transcripts directly from Cambridge to FSW in order to have those credits transcribed on their FSW transcript. This is important to ensure that students are earning prerequisite credit and not registering for duplicate credits. For example, students who have passed the AICE English Language Exam can go directly to ENC 1102 or Lit 2000, as FSW counts AICE English Language as ENC 1101 credit. The only way to have credit transcribed is by sending scores directly from Cambridge. OHS counselors cannot send scores on your behalf per FSW policy.
To Send AICE Transcripts:
Please visit the Cambridge Transcript Request Service link on the AICE page of the Guidance Website.
To participate in Dual Enrollment, you must submit eligible college-level test scores from at least one test. We recommend taking the Accuplacer, as it qualifies you to take higher level courses including FSW math courses. The Accuplacer is free to take at FSW or online. You can qualify for dual enrollment through an SAT or ACT score as well.
Test Score Requirements
Accuplacer Placement Testing Options
YOU MUST HAVE SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION AND RECEIVED AN FSW ID NUMBER PRIOR TO REGISTERING FOR TESTING.
*TEST scores are valid for two years per FL 6A-10.0315*
Submit your scores in person at an FSW Testing Center—you must have a valid Photo ID and your log in information to your ACT/SAT/Digital SAT account/s.
Or Submit the scores via Zoom. Request a Zoom appointment by emailing leetesting@fsw.edu
Now it is time to figure out what classes you would like to take. Students should be registering for courses that follow their intended degree. To do so, please use the link for FSW Guided Pathways below. We strongly recommend meeting with your FSW advisor to aide in helping make class decisions. You must make sure you still stay on track for High School Graduation. The Academic Course Catalog should be used to make sure you are meeting course prerequisites.
FSW Guided Pathways
When choosing classes, FSW recommends using the "Guided Pathways" to choose your classes. These guided pathways are intended to keep you on track for degrees at most of the Florida State Universities, but students should always refer to their preferred destination school's requirements to ensure they are on track. Visit the website below and schedule a meeting with your FSW advisor for more information and help in setting up this path.
For information about classes that cover general education core requirements (i.e. humanities, natural sciences, etc.), please visit the link below for a list of courses.

Now that you know what classes you would like to take, it times to figure out when they are offered. FSW will release their next semester class schedule about two weeks before the registration term begins. You can find it on the link below. It will give you information such as when it is offered, who the instructor is, and how many seats are available. You can filter your search by location and delivery method. We always recommend starting your Dual Enrollment experience in person, but online classes are an option. When looking for your classes, be sure that they do not affect your high school class schedule. The classes your register for must be after school hours. Remember that for every Dual Enrollment class you take, means one less class you take at Oasis High School. Seniors are allowed to be Full-Time Accelerated Pathway students. Please reach out to your counselor should you like to consider this option.
We STRONGLY encourage that you meet with your FSW advisor to discuss which classes you would like to take based on your desired college major. OHS counselors will not advise students on college classes or college requirements.
Once you have decided which classes/sections you'd like to take, it is time to register for your classes. Class registration is completed online through the FSW online e-form, linked below. Class choices will require counselor pre-approval, and you will need to add them to the form when you submit it. Once you submit your form, please be sure to follow up with your counselor to ensure they have received it. After the form is approved by your counselor, it will be sent to FSW for approval. You must see your counselor and submit another e-form to register for new classes if any of them were denied.
Fall 2025 Dual Enrollment Course Registration:
April 3, 2025 - May 23, 2025
Spring 2026 Dual Enrollment Course Registration:
October 30, 2025 - December 5, 2025
Summer 2026 Dual Enrollment Course Registration:
April 2, 2026 - April 15, 2026
Fall 2026 Dual Enrollment Course Registration:
April 2, 2026- May 22, 2026
All Fall 2026 course registrations must be submitted no later than May 22, 2026, as the OHS Guidance office will be out for summer. No course registrations will be processed past that date.
Once you have submitted a form, it is your responsibility to continuously check your FSW email to see if your classes were approved or denied. This is the ONLY way that FSW communicates this information to you so it is vital that you are checking it multiple times a day! OHS counselors will not notify you on course registrations! If for some reason your classes aren't approved, go back to step 8 and continue to complete forms until you get your classes.
Once your form is processed, you should receive an email with the subject: FSW Registration Is Processed - Review Registration Notes and Confirm Your Classes. You must open the form to ensure your classes have been registered. If they have been successfully registered, it will say 'Completed' next to each class. If they have NOT been registered, it will say something else and an explanation will be on the second page. Below is an example of what this looks like.
Download book voucher form and fill out with class and book information.
Take completed voucher to Media Center. There you will receive books that have already been purchased by Oasis High School.
Take voucher to your counselor for a final approval.
If we do not have all the books you require, or if you need an online access code, you will take the completed voucher with counselor signature to the FSW bookstore. At the bookstore, they will give you the remaining materials that you need and send us the bill. Please be sure to get a receipt and return it to the media center.
Due to the intensity and rigor of the AICE program, the Guidance Department strongly advises against students taking AICE classes concurrently with Dual Enrollment classes. The required AICE student progression is equivalent to full time college enrollment at 12 or more credits. With our past experience, taking both Dual Enrollment and AICE jeopardizes both a student’s college GPA, and their ability to pass AICE exams and earn an AICE Diploma. Please be advised that if you do sign up for both Dual Enrollment and AICE, you will be doing so against the advice of the OHS Guidance Department and Administration.
No! It is not required to turn those in to us, despite what FSW might tell you.
OHS counselors will NOT advise on college course registrations, as we are not experts in college requirements. It is not necessary or recommended to schedule a meeting with an OHS counselor for this purpose.
While this is common advice given, it is not necessarily true. Students should register on their own using the steps outlined above. Waiting for an OHS counselor could delay the process, so it's important to complete the steps ASAP. We are always available to answer quick questions, but we do not provide in-depth dual enrollment advising.
All dual enrollment students have an "accelerated HS student" hold on their account. This hold indicates that you are a dual enrollment student for advising purposes. It does not hold you back or prevent you from doing anything, it just means you need to follow the registration process listed above versus registering like a traditional FSW student.
FSW advisors will not advise on high school requirements in the same way that high school counselors will not advise on college requirements. Please do not see your FSW advisor with questions about high school requirements, otherwise it could cut your meeting short and affect the quality of college advising.
Students should always speak to their destination school and their FSW advisor to ensure that the classes they are taking are keeping them on track for their intended degree. Degree maps can be found on each college's website for the specific program you're interested in. This is the best way to make sure that the credits you are taking are actually going to be valuable to you!
